  3. Hi, I want to clarify something; I am Simwinji Zeko, the guitarist credited as 'Zimi' on the above 'Asaboni' album. I am a Zambian and spent about 3 years touring on the road with Jon K around the UK. Interesting times they were, along with Pauline Oduro, Vico Mensah, Paapa J. Mensah, Ray Otu Allen, Toyce Owusu and others. After 30 years it is good to check out the songs on youtube. I never worked out why Jon K credited me simply as 'Zimi'. A lot of people called me 'Simi', so he modified it. The studio sessions were quite intense and focused. Jon worked too hard, it eventually affected his health. But he was definitely in his element in the recording studio. He allowed me to try out some Zambian and Congolese guitar motifs in one of the songs and I also learnt some interesting Highlife guitar phrases!
